My name is Jacob Day and I am a first-year student at the University of Kentucky. I studied within the Math, Science, and Technology magnet at my high school, hoping to apply those skills in a higher education nursing program.
During my four years of high school study, I had taken rigorous AP and dual credit classes such as AP Chemistry, AP Biology, and Anatomy/Physiology that have benefited me in the pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. From those classes, I further developed my understanding of the natural sciences along with research, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
I graduated from duPont Manual Magnet High School in the spring of 2023 and am currently pursuing my BSN at the University of Kentucky's College of Nursing. My end goal is to earn my Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist license after post-graduate education.
